Made from an extremely long staple cotton, 4-ply gauze. Sponges are chlorine-free; pre-washed to help reduce lint and loose threads. Each sponge features a 7" all cotton loop for ease of location and retrieval during surgery. Both loop and monofilament are double stitched. All sponges are CSR wrapped and sterile unless noted.
