Medline's gauze sponges are ideal for wound dressings, wound packing and general wound care. Our low-lint manufacturing process assures clean, virtually debris-free packing with folded edges to help prevent unraveling. Gauze sponges feature x-ray detectable barium sulfate strands sewn into the sponge and packaged by strong rigid trays. X-ray element helps reduce risk of sponge loss in a surgical or emergency procedure.
